HOCHHAUS SELVE, THUN

The former Selve area with old, crooked factory buildings, which served mainly for the production of bullet casings and coins. An administration building, ten residential buildings, including a twelve-storey high-rise building complying with the Swiss Minergie standard, were built on the dismantled industrial site.

Special feature

Facade substructure for Minergie standard U-value < 0.15 W/(m2*K). The cladding made of gypsum plaster boards with only 2 dilatation joints on the entire height of the building.
